A gentle night rain turned to snow -- heavy & wet....  Thought we were still hanging on to a last bit of fall....

Seventeen Canadian Geese visited the pond this evening.   ...Stayed a while, then flew off in formation...  Not a typical sight...  Seems we're in seasonal transition !!

Summer at its Peak !!

The progression of summer always seems to be defined by a garden in full production and a succession of flowers...  Queen Anne's Lace, Butterflyweed, Wild Clematis, Coneflower, Black-eyed Susan, etc...

Vegetable Garden -- Progressing Nicely !!

Long cold winter followed by a late spring, add lots of dairy barn compost, a nice dry spell for planting -- and heavy rain showers on a regular basis since...  All seems to add up to a potentially productive garden this year... Hopefully all continues well and we'll have plenty of vegetables to share !!
