Mid-Summer Walk-About

An odd summer season this year... Persistent haze from the Canadian fires on a daily basis. Less than satisfying results in the vegetable garden despite all the hard work. 

... Yet, Nature still charms on the the daily walk-about.

Early, Early Spring !!!

After e a almost non-existent winter, we're having the earliest of springs -- with balmy weather and profusion of crocus and daffodils. Forsythia close behind.

Still waiting to hear the first peeper frogs.  Seems like they are smart to sleep in a bit longer..

Possums on the prowl at night though....
