 Ornamental cherry tree by the spring house displays it glory faithfully the same week every year...but only after the yellow of forsythia have faded.

First Flush of Spring

Daffodils and Forsythia -- always a favorite combination.  So far, no frost nipping....

 

Winter on Its Way Out

Snow drops in profusion signal the "beginning of the end" of winter.

First Winter Snow

Gentle and ephemeral, a first winter snow.... Kathleen went out to capture on the camera.  The sun soon showed itself and the snow was mostly gone by afternoon.

Fall colors adjusting each day... 

 

Mid-Summer Walk-About

An odd summer season this year... Persistent haze from the Canadian fires on a daily basis. Less than satisfying results in the vegetable garden despite all the hard work. 

... Yet, Nature still charms on the the daily walk-about.
